What kid wouldn’t want to celebrate their birthday with a teepee full of pillows and blankets in their backyard? This photo shoot captured 2-year-old Sophia doing just that. Filled with wonder at the cozy setup, she kicked off her Mary-Janes and made herself at home while she posed for Sanaz Photography – who designed and captured the whole thing!

I have photographed Sophia since she was born and wanted to plan another kind of shoot for her 2nd birthday. I decided to go with a modern boho style and loved using the teepee I ordered from Amazon. It was pretty plain so it was easy to decorate different ways. I just added some greenery and lots of pillows. I also loved adding Studio Mucci tassels!
