End of Summer Bohemian Backyard Party

We’re excited to share this party, perfect for the end of summer, with you on our lifestyle blog today! We’re headed into fall and whether you’re looking to treat your girlfriends to one last summer hurrah or celebrate an upcoming fall wedding with your bridesmaids, Sitting in a Tree dreamed up the perfect backyard celebration. For this soirée, the hostess gathered her closest gal pals and treated them to custom chocolate dipped bananas and of course, goblets filled with rosé. The girls channeled some late summer festival vibes with floral crowns, stacked turquoise, boho decor, festival banners, layered serape blankets… and even hula hoops and floralized tambourines!

We’re big fans of the casual – yet super stylish – vibe and every last little detail from the pink rim of the napkins to the aisle of tall jarred candles. The combination of berry, tangerine, and blue shades in the color palette echo the changing seasons – they hung on to those bright summer colors but used them in more muted tones. With Hannah’s Bananas to nom on and Gunn & Swain pillows to lounge on, it’s an idyllic afternoon affair. Fun, relaxed, and perfect for transitioning into Fall where the evenings are just a little bit brisk. We can’t lie. Fall is our favorite and we want it to show up soon!

“We wanted the girls to not only have beautiful decor surrounding them, but also some fun activities. We wrapped hula hoops with scraps of fabric and made our own tambourines from wooden wreaths, adorned with bells. Each place setting had a sage smudge stick keepsake and place cards that channeled Tibetan festivals.”
