Free People Inspired Maternity Photos

Bohemian vibes and feminine flair are comin’ in hot with these inspired by Free People maternity photos on our baby blog today. These parents today glowed in the sunset light in Huntington Beach, CA as they showed off the baby bump, dressed in supreme style. They wore three different looks – mama, Kelsey, donning flowy silhouettes of some of Free People’s iconic boho dresses and skirts, topped off with hats and flower crowns. Chelsea Maras Photography had the pleasure of photographing the couple and shares a little background and the beautiful results with us here.

The idea behind this shoot was to capture a beautiful mommy to be in all kinds of fun Spring fashion. Free People is an awesome bohemian inspired brand but we really wanted to show that it is wearable and can be styled for a baby bump too! So many ladies ask me about what to wear for their maternity sessions and Kelsey and I really want to show them that their sense of fashion doesn’t have to change just because you are expecting. It was so fun styling the different looks and showcasing such a beautiful mama and her adoring hubby. There’s no truer way to my heart than a pretty girl in a gorgeous flower crown! Pamela as French Bouquet makes the most gorgeous crowns for all occasions! In true OC fashion we took the photos in a fun park overlooking Huntington Beach. Being able to show off how excited this two lovebirds are for their next big adventure was so sweet!
