Backyard Malibu Wedding

It’s romantic, it’s elegant, (it’s making us tear up a little), but above all this backyard Malibu wedding on our wedding blog is fun! With a big happy bridal party and a wedding venue that made the bride and groom feel right at home, the affair was intimate and full of love and laughs. We love how Gina & Ryan Photography captured all the little moments of this special day from the groom’s look as he sees his bride (clad in a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta ball gown) walk down the aisle to the pure joy the couple had upon leaving their reception to cheering guests. Here’s their inside take on the wedding that we’re going to dream ours’ looks like and wish we were at!

Liz & Spencer’s Private Estate Wedding at Lake Sherwood was as intimate as it was perfect. Held at Spencer’s family home, the two tied the knot in the beautiful backyard overlooking the mountains of Malibu. The intimate backyard ceremony later set the stage for the most amazing set of live musicians (including the groom!), and then into an incredible dance party. It was a celebration that felt so warm, so right, and just like home. Liz was stunning in the most incredible dress, and Spencer was as dapper as ever sporting a navy suit. Later, the two fled the evening through a romantic row of sparklers.
