What we love about this leather DIY hair clip? It’s so simple and cute, and our friends at Alice & Lois made it! Plus it looks absolutely adorable in a little tot’s hair! (But you can wear it too!). Simple leather hair clips like this one can go with everything – and are especially adorable with a little chambray dress! And when we say it’s easy to make, we mean it! In five minutes and with only a few supplies you or your daughter will have a brand new accessory! Better yet, group them in sets of three, tie them/wrap them up and give them to your friends, or use as stocking stuffers for Christmas! Yes, it’s that time of year again! Follow these quick steps and grab some scrap leather pieces, scissor, glue and hair clips and you are ready to go!

Supplies:
leather scraps
glue (We used E6000)
hair clips (We used Goody brand)
scissors
Directions:
Steps 1: Using very sharp scissors, cut a one and a half inch heart. I first cut a template from paper and used that to cut leather.
Step 2: Using a toothpick, put glue on the top area of hair clip. Adhere leather heart onto glued area of clip.
Step 3: Let the clip dry overnight before putting in hair.
