Inspired by This + Lands’ End First-Day Faves

Today is the day!  We’re so excited to be hosting a virtual blog-up shop on Lands’ End starting today!  We’ve pulled some of our picks from their new collection to create our “First-Day Faves” that are sure to make your little feel confident as they start school!  Lands’ End helps families make every day, the best day with a Back-to-School Collection that’s filled with new styles, easy-to-wear options and durability.

First is our “Mixed Prints Princess”!  For this look we knew we just had to have this amazing leopard dress because what girl doesn’t feel fierce in animal print!?  Since fall can be a bit chilly (in places other than SoCal) we layered her up with some fun knit leggings and the most adorable polka dot denim jacket!  Honestly though, can we get that jacket in our size!?  To top the look off we gave her some funky lace up boots and a glittery pink headband to add a punch of color and keep it girly.  These boots and jersey dress keep her comfortable enough to run around the playground and the headband keeps that wild hair out of her eyes!  And at the end of the day, you can’t go wrong with some polka dots to top everything off!

We all know that lunch is the most important time of the day to show off your new look so we made sure to give this little lady some accessories to complete her first day outfit!  A pink personalized cooler is just what she needs!  Lands’ End can monogram just about anything that will take a stitch. Our second look is for the little man in your life.  The “Layered Hotshot” starts out with our new favorite pair of skinny jeans…can you die!?  These green skinnies paired with a relaxed striped shirt is just the right amount of color while still being the cool kid on the block.  Top it off with an unbuttoned chambray and some killer boots and he’s set!  Nice enough to look put together for school and comfortable enough to jump on his skateboard after class.  To stash all of his crumpled up homework sheets and welcome packets (let’s be real here), we gave him a cool cobalt blue backpack and
