Inspired by Ashley’s Vintage Garden and Blueberry Bridal Shower

It was such an honor and a privilege for me to throw Ashley her vintage garden and blueberry bridal shower! You saw the gorgeous inspiration and I loved seeing it all come to life. The outdoor bridal shower took place at my parents home and I think I’m going to start renting it out as a party venue because when I got the pictures back from Dave and Sandy, I nearly died. I called my dad right up and told him it’s official, “I appreciate the house we grew up in now as adult way more then I ever did growing up.” Thanks again dad for letting us have our party at your house!!

Lauren and I are always taking note on what Ashley likes at the office so of course we had to include some of her favorite design elements: Herbs, gardens, vintage books, delicious desserts etc.. We surprised her with a Vintage Garden shower complete with a “Plant Your Own Love Garden Station” which served as an interactive way for guests to have fun together and take away a cute favor too. We played a quiz to see who knew the most about Ashley and Tyman and teamed up with her family to make her favorite home made foods for lunch.

Thanks so much to everyone who came together to create this shower with us: Dave Richards Photography ( for capturing Ashley and her special day perfectly), Jesi Haack ( who showed up at 8am that day with a van full of props and decor items to help me with design and layout,  JL Designs ( for all the herbs, pots, and plants ) Kacee Geoffroy (for beautifying the bride to be) Plush Tan (for giving us a golden glow) OC Prop Girl (for your fabulous vintage vanity we used for our beverage station) Mintwich Design ( for all the lovely stationery you put together), Courtney Toney from Joyful Joyful ( for the amazing burlap “Love in Bloom” sign) and La Tavola Linen ( you know how obsessed I am with your collection– this burlap linen is one of my faves) And of course I can’t forget to thank Ashley’s Maid of Honor Bre and her mom as well as Be Inspired PR Lauren ( who helped me  plan surprise elements and order items off etsy, while we were working at the office alongside Ashley. I am grateful to you all!

ASHLEY WE LOVE YOU AND WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR YOUR WEDDING ON SATURDAY!!!!!

Flower Stand look familiar?

Potted sage, rosemary and mint adorned our tables

Remember those gorgeous Jose Villa images?!

For Ashley’s shower gift, I bought her these custom garden spoon markers off of Etsy and had the seller make one that say “Ashley and Tyman” with their wedding date!

Jordan from Mintwich made cute little popsicle stick markers for our potted plants that said ” Love In Bloom” “5.7.11”, and “Ashley and Tyman”

Our vintage vanity we borrowed from OC Prop Girl to use as our beverage station!

Blueberry Pies!

Homemade chocolate mint pudding that look like mini pots!!

Courtney Toney from Joyful Joyful made Ashley this super cute sign we hung on the palm trees by all the shower gifts.

Ashley and some of her bridesmaids holding our Love In Bloom Sign!
