The photographer shares,
“When Maddie and Nick started wedding planning, they knew they didn’t want to do anything uniform. What they did know, is that they wanted to make each detail special and perfectly reflecting their relationship. The Cusick’s shared their bright, intimate wedding day in Maddie’s parents backyard, The Marenholz Residence!
Not everyone can say they got married in their parents backyard. Additionally, Maddie’s parents had a backyard wedding of their own, so it just seemed right! Who doesn’t love fun traditions?! It made for the most special wedding day and was a one of a kind evening that they will look back on for decades to come.”
The photographer continues,
“Maddie and her girls got ready at her aunt’s beautiful new england style property down the street from the Marenholz Residence. The entire day was rooted in family which is reflected in the photos you see here. Maddie went with a beautiful tight modern bun for her hair. Her stunning wedding dress from, ‘Made With Love Bridal’ was the perfect dress for her.
As they made their way to the Marenholz Residence, Maddie and Nick shared their first look under the tree’s in the backyard.
A white Sperry sailcloth tent adorned the back yard to host the reception. Maddie was not shy of color and wanted to showcase her love for that in every little detail. The tent featured beautiful bright shades of pink florals to bring the evening to life, beautiful blush napkins and, of course, a pink water glass! Maddie’s girls each wore a beautiful color patterned dress, and had floral baskets to match!”
The details,
“The flow of the evening was organic and fun. After the backyard ceremony, that featured a colorful floral arbor, aisle baskets and a whole lot of love, guests enjoyed cocktail hour beneath the trees. Bubble & Brews prepared the most delicious drinks : one called the “pepper’-tinni’ ‘ which is named after Maddie and Nick’s dog , Pepper!
Dinner took place under the tent. Maddie and Nick opted for a more casual style dining. Bambolina’s catered the event and for dinner and they served a next level brick oven pizza station and taco station! The brick oven pizza smelled SOO good all night long! After dinner guests danced the night away and made their way back to the Archer Hotel in Burlington to continue the party!”
