This shoot was inspired by the beauty that surrounds the Oregon Coast but focusing on the surrounding areas can often be overlooked such as this beautiful lake, Coffenbury Lake located near Astoria, OR. The design and colors were inspired by deep and rich jewel tones. We loved that the jewel tones, burgundy and pops of yellow brought a vibrancy and richness to the natural area.
Real couple Emma and Juan truly radiated love for one another as photographer, Alexandra captured them. Coordinator & Stylist, Jaime Ta Creative intentionally selected extremely talented vendors to bring this vision of bright and deep tones to life with a bit of whimsy. We went with a non-traditional wedding gown because every one should be able to showcase their individuality.
We allowed the lake to shine while also making a tree feel magical with a floral vine wrapping the tree. The cake and macarons were created to compliment the invitation suite and florals. Everything came together like magic for this vision and I hope to be able to inspire other couples with this fun and whimsical shoot.
