Is there anything that makes you think of sunshine quite like California? In our case, it’s going to be a hard no. This charming elopement embodied everything it means to be in sunny California, and we have to say we are mega fans. Everything from the groom’s mustard suit, to the barn backdrop, left us feeling beyond inspired, and we are willing to guess if you give this charming elopement a chance it will leave you feeling beyond inspired as well!
This charming elopement was the perfect combination of dreamy and romantic, and truly EMBODIED THE BEST FALL tones as we transition into the new season on the coast of SUNNY CALIFORNIA. Our bride wore a glamorous gown and Bella Belle wedding heels with stunning embellishments, while our groom looked sharp in a copper velvety jacket by Endeavored Threads. Hair and makeup artists of the Queen’s Bees, created a flirty look on our beautiful bride, with her beach waves pulled back to highlight her statement earrings and jewel necklace provided by Serengeti West. The mauve and peach tones used truly highlighted the bride’s natural beauty complementing the dress, and bright, gorgeous florals!
The White Barn is a truly magical setting along the central coast of California in the heart of Edna Valley. This barn and surrounding landscape are so well complemented by the golden light that hits it. Designer and planner, Brooke Nicole Events, was inspired by its golden hour magic to design an elopement enhancing just that – for the modern, romantic couple with an appreciation for true fairytale elegance. The blooms curated by Flowers by Denise, in tones of peach, yellow, and white worked in perfect contrast to the venue’s natural landscape and beauty. Calligrapher and stationer, Fête and Quill, created an invitation suite for guests that was the perfect preview into the day full of thoughtful modern, romantic design. Guests enjoyed another peek into the day with their fun welcome baskets curated by Bestowe Gifting.
The intimate ceremony took place overlooking the Santa Lucia Mountains. Mabel, the golden doodle, stole the show in as she escorted the rings in her embellished collar! The barn doors on the White Barn matched her perfectly! The reception dinner took place at the front of the barn in the main courtyard by the oversized barn doors, creating the best ambiance for guests. The BBJ Linen tablecloth was inspired by our bride’s wedding gown embellishments. This alfresco intimate dining experience was enjoyed among friends, family, and gorgeous blooms. The brown bentwood chairs by All About Events complimented the barn doors so well, in perfect contrast to the modern, white barn. The cake by Autumn Cake Design was another lovely component with a modern design enjoyed by all, sitting atop the mustard velvet tablecloth – we were gushing!! Another highlight was the champagne cart by Scout Rental Co. – embellished with beautiful smilax vines by Flowers by Denise and adorned with a sign by Fête and Quill.
Cocktail hour was a big hit with fall-inspired specialty cocktails by Mixed Events 805 for guests to enjoy in stunning lounges by Avenue Twelve Rentals. The reception and setting were captured in paint by Heather Millenaar, a modern artist and live wedding painter based in SLO County. She presented her painting to the couple to enjoy in their home. Golden hour moments (our personal favorite at this venue!) were captured nearby the mature pepper trees and white gate, a statement piece at this venue. We were gushing at the dreamy setting created, and it was all beautifully captured by Kelley Williams Photography.
If you loved this wedding just as much as we did, then we know you will love this Yellow Pantone wedding!
