Red Wild and Blue 4th of July Celebration

It’s getting red wild and blue on the blog today! If you are planning on staying home for the 4th of July this year (which we hope you are staying safe) then this celebration is perfect for you. This red wild and blue celebration proves that you don’t need to go out or have people over to celebrate in style. All you need is some beautiful inspiration and decor. Just take a look at how amazing this gorgeous at home 4th of July celebration turned out. Between the unique theme of incorporating “wild” elements to a traditional 4th of July theme, we can appreciate it all.

The planner shares,

Summer is here and although we may be staying six feet apart, it’s a great time to celebrate. This year we may not be attending big soirees and town parades but we can still bring the fun by creating an all-American backyard bash to remember. Cheers to family time and a gorgeous dose of red, white, and blue hues.

Around here we take every chance we can to dine outside and play until sunset. This festive tabletop from Ellie and Piper co perfectly sets a playful mood for Independence Day. With a mixture of traditional color palettes and a splash of animal print, we went wild with DIYs. We used a thin sheet of wood paneling to cut out fun shapes and then painted them to become our backdrops. Balloons were painted as well to fit in with the theme. Florals by Thao were both beautiful and playful. The pops of pampas grass and blue thistle reminded me of fireworks while the peonies and roses brought a big dose of beauty.
This was an all-day soiree. Kiddos were able to play with the ever-so-cute Mesh Kids Co ball pit while mom and dad prepped the food and drinks. We then moved outside to sit and graze. Feast and Floral created an amazing spread! Strawberries, cheese, cookies, crackers, dragon fruit – oh my!!

After snacking we hit the pool! What could be better than hitting 80 degrees with no breeze and taking a dip in one of the cutest pools around?! Our Minni Dip pool was the center of attention for our backyard party. It brought laughter, excitement, and heaps of happiness to the party. Right about now we could all use a huge dose of those!
With the sound of laughter as our soundtrack, us adults were able to sip on some yummy tequila cocktails. DIY Red white and blue ice cubes were made to spruce up our sparking water glasses while popsicles were used to add a hint of sweetness to our cocktails.

After pool play, we moved on to desserts. What’s a party without sweets? We had blueberry-topped ice cream cone cupcakes and an amazing wild vanilla bean cake by Tamar. Hearts were full and together we sparkled.
Whether you are celebrating Independence day with your own backyard BBQ or a small gathering, let this shoot bring some inspiration and life to your party. While many things may be put on hold for a bit, the FUN is always going strong!
