Today on the blog we are so excited to share a beautiful baby shower with the most adorable theme. What could be a better time to view a living garden baby shower than in the month of May? We didn’t know that this baby shower was the inspiration we needed right now. Between the adorable couple, their sweet friends, and all of the amazing decor we are sure you will find one if not ten elements that will inspire you!
The photographer, Keri Calabrese shares more about this couple and what made their living garden baby shower so special,
“Kaitlin (the mama to be) has been a client of mine for years. So I was thrilled when she told me she was pregnant! when we started talking about her baby shower inspiration and the vision for her event, she admitted that she had a little gender disappointment when she found out she was having a boy. Having a boy myself, I knew that once her son was here, all those feelings would go away. But when you’re pregnant, its a very real feeling. It can be hard to picture what your life would be like with a baby boy. When I photographed Kaitlin’s bridal shower a few years ago, everything was pink and green and girly. She knew this was going to be her last shower and now she had to plan something for a boy. At first, she didn’t know what she was going to do. She quickly got over all of that and threw herself into the planning process. She decided she was going to have the most beautiful boy baby shower anyone had ever seen. And omg was she right! She brought on Angi & Co to help with design and Blue Jasmine to handle florals. Together they came up with a living garden theme with a touch of peter rabbit to play off the garden part. Kaitlin chose my favorite venue of all time- the madison hotel (which is where I got married). The conservatory at the Madison hotel is the perfect venue for a garden party and often is for weddings and bridal showers. I just love how the living garden theme, came to life in this magical venue.”
