A warm summer’s evening. A pop of marigold and the moments that make up a marriage. In the heart of San Luis Obispo, wine country stood bride and groom, drenched in summer’s golden light, ready to say their vows. Surrounded by the golden florals of the summer season, an intimate dinner reception, and the stunning views of Edna Valley’s Biddle Ranch Vineyards, it was the perfect evening.
A pop of pink and marigold was carried throughout their day with their custom stationery by Ashley Baumgartner. From their invitation to their day of paper goods inviting guests to their seats and informing them of the delicious meal and dessert they were about to partake in, a pop of marigold was a must.
The bride wore a stunning Hayley Paige gown with a relaxed hairstyle and warm summer-toned makeup by The Queen’s Bees. Her closest friend, dressed in a stunning pink bridesmaid gown also from La Soie Bridal, accompanied her to the altar drenched in florals to meet her groom, dressed in a stunning black and white combination from The Black Tux. The finishing touches were the beautiful rings made by Serengeti West Jewelers.
With a canvas as classic and clean as Biddle Ranch, the team opted for a modern and straightforward design emphasizing the white buildings, soft greens of the landscape, and of course, the vineyards. With pops of colorful florals by Brooke Edelman Floral, and marigold and pink accents of linens from Party Crush Studio and Blush Fine Linens, the color was brought to life around the property. The variety of velvet and gauze kept it light, and the contrasting colors lent to the vision of vibrancy. The white wooden table and bar on which the linens sat were provided by All About Events and looked right at home next to the white buildings of Biddle Ranch. In addition, their classic place settings maintained the elegance of this intimate affair while keeping the attention on the cascading floral table runner design by Felicia of FM Events and Brooke Edelman Floral.
Guests were treated to Biddle’s own Rose, their bud floral vase to find their seat and a stunningly delicious and delicate cake by Autumn Cake Design. But before the reception, guests enjoyed a custom cocktail by Bottles and Ice on Biddle’s lawn with seating by Scout Rental Co. Out front, guests could stop by Brooke’s darling marigold floral truck and another relaxing Scout Rental Co lounge to watch the sunset.
As the sunset on this colorful and bountiful day, it was a true summer soiree with a pop of marigold and marriage.
