Every little girl has their diva moments – but this mom took advantage of her daughter’s big personality and threw a carnival birthday party that was even bigger! We’re talking long kiddy tables with balloon garlands down the center, a slew of games like basket toss and ‘ring the zebra’, a giant marquee lit ‘3’, and so. Much. More! All in shades of pink, black and white, of course! And a dessert display decked out in balloons, zebra print, and admit-one cookies? It takes the carnival theme cake! Our only question – when she turns 4, can we come?!
When you meet first meet little London there are a few things you know right off the bat: she has impeccable style (and not just for a 3 year old) and she has is packed full of spunk and attitude. When it came time to pick a theme for London’s third birthday, there was no question that a Diva Carnival was the perfect sassy, hip popping fit.
London’s mom and event planner extraordinaire, Laura Held of Ida Rose Events, put together a “backyard celebration” fit for a future icon. A color palette of black, white and of course plenty of pops of pink set the stage for the carnival celebration.
Social Supply, Brightly Ever After and All About Balloons decked out the backyard with diva carnival games (hello zebra toss!), a flower wall, and a jaw dropping balloon garland. Heirloom DC provided not your average carnival fare while staying right on theme. Just wait until you see the ferris wheel of finger food. The party was topped off with a dessert display from Fluffy Thoughts and Sugar Studio. It was complete with a zebra carousel cake and to-die-for cookies. Oh! And did we mention the cotton candy machine, donuts, and made to order ice cream?
This celebration is one that London’s family and friends are not soon to forget, but was the just right for this teeny tiny #diva.
When it comes to kids birthday party themes, it doesn’t get much more fun than this carnival birthday party! But we also love this celestial birthday party or this retro tropical first birthday!
