That fresh feeling that comes with fall and the crisp-ness in the air is depicted so well in these stylish autumn engagement photos. How can an engagement session feel like a season, you ask? This shoot is exhibit A (see exhibit B, and exhibit C). And it has much to do with the beautiful colors that fill it; the greenery in her bouquet, the golden lighting, the bride to be’s rich burgundy jumpsuit. In fact, the couple’s awesome style in general exudes that fall feeling. Scroll on to see what we mean.

Based in Florida, and surrounded by absolutely beautiful Gulf of Mexico beaches, I was really excited when Beka and Jonathan were up for a more “Fall themed” engagement session away from the beach. We chose a local preserve in Bradenton, Florida called Rye Wilderness Preserve. I contacted the talented Kristin Helmuth of Oh Darling Events right away to see if she was able to create something for me. I told her to create something wild and unique and she created such a beautiful bouquet that complimented the rugged natural landscape and the couple’s outfits perfectly. She used Magnolia Leaves, Ranunculus, Mums, Umbrella Fern, Carolina Sapphire cypress, China Berry, Juliet Garden Roses, Tiffany Peach Roses, Golden Shrimp Plant, Broom Corn and Beehive Ginger. Adding a bouquet to your engagement session adds such a nice touch and BONUS – you get practice holding a bouquet for photos before your wedding day!
Love these colors! And that bouquet!
Ooooh love her style!
