The beautiful evening in Michigan, where the leaves match the shades on the table, is the picture of the season; cozy plaid throws, candlelight, good wine, and great conversation. Doesn’t that sound exceptional?! We can’t help but feel a little jealous… especially with a bit of live music thrown in and a delectable meal! When sun soaked summer days come to a close and we embark upon autumn, there is a great sense of appreciation of why we are so passionate about the event industry; when a phone call with one of your favorite vendors to collaborate with leads to a vision based upon a well designed photo shoot that embodies our passion for supporting local vendors, while being sustainably conscious. This is the concept we, along with Amy Hendrickson, of Amy Kate Designs, embraced for this celebration.
It encompassed a ten year anniversary with a fall harvest gathering at 2 Lads Winery on Old Mission Peninsula. The 2 Lads staff toasted to ten years as leaders in the local wine industry, while giving appreciation to the vendors that made this well-curated evening possible. We dined under a canopy of chestnut trees aglow with beautiful candle light, sipping wine and enjoying thoughtfully prepared cuisine by Chef Henry of Smoke and Porter Restaurant.
