Ombré Sunshine Party for A Baby Baptism

Grab your shades, because we’re about to brighten your day! This ombré sunshine party celebrated a baby baptism with dialed up decor that couldn’t be more fitting! The color palette ranged from pale yellow to bright pink and back again, and was incorporated into every element of the day. From balloon garlands to acrylic signage, every detail showed off the sunny gradient. And just wait until you get to dessert! When my best friend approached me to plan her daughter’s baptism I was ecstatic. Her daughter’s name is Arev which means “sun” in Armenian, so it was only appropriate that we had a sun themed baptism celebration! I didn’t want to go too literal with the sun theme so we focused more on a color story by bringing in an ombre effect of pink, peach, soft yellow, and ivory.

The baptism took place in the backyard so we wanted it to have a garden feel with white chairs and white umbrellas. The tables were covered in a soft yellow linen and the centerpieces consisted of greenery with a light ombre effect using roses, dahlias, and ranunculus. I was in love with these plates that I found that had a yellow ombre pattern which worked perfectly for this party. To break up the round tables we had an amazing long table with an ombre balloon runner that cascaded down to the floor. Flowers and greenery were tucked into the balloon runner, which added a beautiful touch. The table numbers were acrylic with an ombre effect painted on the back. The dessert table had a wow moment as guests entered the party.

The backdrop of the dessert table was an acrylic sign that had been hand painted as a sun to mimic the invitations. We also had a balloon garland with flowers tucked in swagged across a wooden structure. The kid’s table had the most adorable white chivari kids chairs! Each setting also had a favor box with a balloon attached. Overall, I felt very blessed to have been able to create something beautiful for my friend and her family for such a joyous occasion.
