Botanical Geometric Wedding in San Francisco

This bride and groom incorporated just about every trendy material possible into their wedding day, but what else would you expect from a savvy San Francisco couple? And when it all came together, boy, did it work! With the help of Simple Little Details to execute it to perfection, their botanical geometric wedding was everything they dreamed of and much much more. Taleen at Simple Little Details says, Jen and Nick’s wedding took place at the historic Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. We wanted to embrace the beautiful greenery from the conservatory and add in a modern and industrial touch by using geometric shapes and elements such as metal, wood and marble. The ceremony took place outside with the beautiful Conservatory grounds as the backdrop. Greenery, and geometric lanterns and shapes decorated the aisle. The focal point was the arch that was created using aubergine, deep purple florals and greenery with various geometric shapes hanging.

After the ceremony guests moved inside the conservatory for cocktail hour where they were first greeted by an acrylic welcome sign with copper geometric lines and marble hexagon place cards. Guests were in awe at the beauty that surrounded them as they enjoyed specialty drinks and appetizers.

After cocktails, guests were guided to a tented dinner. The tent was clear as to enjoy the beauty that surrounded the conservatory. The tables were covered in a simple white textured linen paired with white washed wooden crossback chairs. There were two different centerpieces. The first was a tall canopy of greens that was held up by a gold stand and had small geometric shapes hanging down. The second was a low centerpiece with various geometric shapes and lanterns that had fairy lights inside paired with unique florals. Each place setting had a matte grey stone charger with a marble plate. We loved the rose gold stamped hexagon shaped menus that sat on top. The table numbers were clear acrylic with geometric copper lines to go along with the theme. As the sun went down, the string lights hanging above provided a beautiful atmosphere.

As dinner concluded, guests were then directed to the dancing and dessert portion of the evening that took place in the Orchid Pavilion. We wanted to create a fun and cool interactive setup so we warmed up the room with purple tone lighting and brought in grey leather furniture to create a lounge atmosphere. There was a candy bar, cotton candy machine, and photobooth for guests to enjoy. Towards the end of the evening, mini pizzas and french fries cones were serviced as a late night snack.
