Who would have thought that dried palm fronds could transform a space from a blank white canvas to a wow-worthy wedding venue. Is this the next pampas grass?? You heard it here first! Plus, the color of the dried leaves mixed with hues of berry and pale gold subtly welcome the new season. It’s those unique decor elements and color combination that make this bohemian copper wedding one for the books. All that AND a gorgeous bride and groom who trend setting styles.
Treasured Heart Events, who designed and planned the photoshoot, shares…
This styled shoot was a BLAST to plan! Patterns, bold colors, and unique details have a special place in my heart, and this vendor team truly made our vision come to life! We wanted to play with fun colors and speak to the kind of bride that isn’t afraid to do something different!
Our groom sported an emerald green jacket from The Black Tux while our bridesmaid donned a gorgeous simple mauve gown from Watters. These colors gave us the most dreamy palette to play with! Our florist, Sarah of Gathered Floral Design, collected dried palm leaves and an assortment of bright, bold florals that were anything but ordinary. Our beauty guru, Sydney Lopez, gave our gals natural makeup with intricate braids with delicate floral detailing.
Our copper arch from Coral Lane Rentals was the perfect centerpiece for our intimate set up. Vivid statement floral pops created a dramatic and picturesque ceremony. Instead of flower petals lining the aisle, we opted for dried palm leaves that made a huge impression on the all white venue, The Nest.
We wanted our head table to make an impact. From the custom macrame table drape from Sugar Creek Vintage Rentals, to vintage blue glassware and copper toasting flutes, we wanted to play with pops of color. Bleached Menus from Neon Sheep Calligraphy added a unique flair to our head table.
Photographer, Matt Mcelligott, effortlessly captured the beauty of this inspiration shoot. We hope that this styled shoot will encourage brides who are on the fence about being bold in their wedding design to take a leap of faith and trust their gut!
