“Less Sleep More Sleepovers” – we can get on board with that! This adorable dream themed sleepover birthday party celebrated a super special 4 year old. Jackie, talented creative behind Penelope Pots Floral Design, created the magical party for her daughter Penelope (who she named her business after!). And it truly is a dream! With fluffy floor pillows and even fluffier ‘clouds’ overhead plus tons of star shaped decor there’s no shortage of thematic elements. It ends on a sweet note with a dessert display complete with sheep cake pops, gold star cupcakes, and moon topped cake!
This party was for my daughter, Penelope‘s 4th birthday party. It was sleepover themed with clouds, sheep, and iridescent details galore. We had it at the seaside venue, Huntington Bay Club, in their beautiful “boathouse” portion of the venue. It was a gorgeous day and a super fun celebration. We created clouds on the tabletop with polyester filler and handmade little stars to place within, along with hand painted utensil handles and DIY iridescent glitter confetti galore. All of the kids and adults were asked to wear their sleepwear, and the kids loved hanging in their pjs all day. All in all, it was a celebratory day filled with balloons, sweets, amazing food, fun decor and lots of little giggles!
