With fireplace weather officially on the way, we’re excited to cozy up with some great new reads! And if you are too, charge your Kindle, pour yourself a glass of wine or hot chocolate and claim your favorite spot on the couch. Here’s our October reading list –
All is Not Forgotten by Wendy Walker
We consider ourselves thriller connoisseurs having read dozens ourselves, and this book deserves to be one of the most buzzed about. Centered around a controversial medical procedure that erases memory from traumatic events, it explores the question of “is it better to forget?” As the patients seek to move forward, they find the only thing that can help them is to recover those memories, and all the shocking truths that come with them.
Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris
Jack and Grace are the envy of their friends, but every couple has their secrets. On the outside they’re the perfect couple – beautiful, charming and immaculate dinner party hosts. But their appearance couldn’t be further from the truth. Their horrific reality leaves one partner desperate for an escape.
Crazy Rich Asians, China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan
If you haven’t checked out these RomCom novels from Kevin Kwan, now is the time. Soon to be a feature film, this trilogy is like Gossip Girl set in Asia and chronicles the stories of Singapore and Hong Kong’s wealthy and elite. You’ll find romance, family drama and stories in friendships told in a light and humorous voice. We couldn’t put these down!
I Know A Secret by Tess Gerritsen
If you haven’t checked out any Tess Gerritsen’s Rizzoli and Isles books yet, we just did you the biggest favor. As you know, we read quite a few thrillers and mysteries and Tess is the only author that consistently keeps us on our toes and surprises us with her twists. These stories follow the ladies of Boston’s crime scenes – Detective Jane Rizzoli and ME Maura Isles as they solve some of the darkest murders.
The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo
Lucy and Gabe’s lives were changed forever when they met at Columbia University on 9/11/01. Though they didn’t know it, their meeting would take them on a 13 year journey spanning continents and war zones, and some of life’s biggest milestones. Keep a box of tissues nearby for this one, you’ll need it.
Elsa’s Wholesome Life
Looking for a warm vegan dinner or still on that smoothie bowl kick? Elsa’s Wholesome life is chock full of recipes that are as beautiful as they are nutritious. Elsa herself walks you through eating whole foods in creative, delicious ways.

I’m definitely adding these to the list!
