This turquoise, pink, and peach desert elopement is beautiful. With a stunning landscape like Joshua Tree as the backdrop, how could it not be? That’s exactly what The Blushing Details and photographers Mary & Maurizio of Quattro Studio thought too. To bring a little color to the desert setting, The Venice Wildflower incorporated pink peonies, peach garden roses, and protea. Aren’t they amazing?! Altogether, the talented vendors created a scene that popped against the land and yet suited it perfectly. Our words can’t really do it justice so go on, have a look…
It was our first shooting in Joshua Tree in California and the atmosphere we found there was amazing. The smell of the wind, the profound silence, the colors and the unique light of the desert were the perfect background for an elopement.
The ceremony, intimate and emotional, in a mystical atmosphere, was held in the middle of the Yucca Valley desert under a flowered arch and with blue candles all around. After the ceremony, during sunset, we took portraits of the bride and the groom in the spectacular light of the desert, among the Yucca trees. The sky was slightly cloudy, which made the atmosphere even more intense.
For the reception, Serenity Escape Villa, a modern and elegant house surrounded by the desert, was the perfect place. And the table setting, arranged by The Blushing Details, was romantic and elegant. The color palette for this destination affair was full of pinks, oranges, peach, and neutrals with pops of turquoise. Finally, the gentle breeze and the stunning colors of the desert’s sunset made it unforgettable!
