This dreamy photoshoot combines a few of our favorite things. It features a bright & airy venue, desert florals, stunning and intricate wedding gowns, & loads of dessert! Hooked yet? The all white barn served as the perfect blank canvas for Laura Cadenhead and a fabulous team of vendors to bring this white on white desert wedding inspiration to life! They somehow managed to inspire both weddings and showers in one fell swoop. So, whether you’re getting together with your best girls to celebrate the bride to-be or looking to throw an awesome desert wedding, there’s something to love about it!
Yes, we all love a good white on white, but our inspiration came from the hopes of bringing these white walls to life. We pulled from what we all know and love about Palm Springs; the bright and warm air combined with rich textures, leafy greens, bold pinks and never being too serious.
Starting with Hair and Makeup, we couldn’t pass up beachy, boho waves, pastel lips and a look that’s truly versatile and weather/wedding proof. Let’s face it, we all want hair we can move and dance in without missing a beat. We chose three gowns from one of our favorite designers because we believe one gown just isn’t enough ;). Plus, we’ve been dying to share boho, fringe-touched gowns in a modern setting.
The space, oh the space. When we found the sweetest white modern barn nestled on a modest little nook of land with the most Southern Texas charm you ever did see, we knew it was fate. But whether it came from a love of our West Coast roots or dreams of a hot and sunny vacay, we brought more than just palms to this cozy barn. We also brought in tons of texture! We mixed the earthiness of wood tables, bamboo chairs and live palms with bright pink blooms, modern calligraphy, clean lines and mid-century modern geometrics and patterns.
