It’s no secret that we Californians have embraced the bohemian trend whole heartedly. From what we wear to how we style our homes, its laid back and eclectic style is everywhere. Lisa Cooper designed her son’s nursery around this boho California vibe. With it, comes desert plants, natural wood and neutral furniture, and a good dose of child-friendly toys and books. The California cacti nursery is setting standards high for the rooms we’ll tour on Inspired by This this year!
Lisa says, The nursery was inspired by our California boho lifestyle. I fell in love with the cacti theme and had a dear friend paint a custom mural which became the focal point of the room. I then brought in white and natural wood elements. The tie dye curtains and macrame wall hanging added to the boho, 70s vibe. the chair was a vintage find from a Mexico trip a few years back. I incorporated art from Orange and Park and Daniella Manini to add color to the space. The pillows, created by Boho Pillow, also added to the bohemian vibe. We were lucky enough to have Megan shoot the space and our family! We just love this dreamy room and loved bringing our baby boy home to it!
