It doesn’t get more whimsical than this fairytale-like wedding inspiration! The deep red and purple hues are ultra romantic and idyllic for a fall or winter wedding. And then there’s the venue. Addison Grove served as an enchanted forest! First, you will see a ceremony set in-between the trees with a perfect-as-can-be natural arch to guide the bride down the aisle. Then, there’s the dreamy fields of grass ideal for portraits, and a meadow and barn where reception dreams are made. The whimsy & the romance sold us on this wedding inspiration, and we know they will do the same for you!
The planners at Eclipse Event Co. share their inspiration…
Dripping Spring’s venue Addison Grove has a whimsical backdrop that really played well to our muted color palette. As the designers, we really wanted to emphasize the current trend as opposed to predicting the future. Much of the shoot was floral related, from the centerpieces to the natural ceremony arch created by the tree branches. They dressed the arch in gorgeous flowers and greenery and lined the aisle in rose petals.
Our bridemaid’s dress even utilized the current trend of floral print, as opposed to just finding it in the invitation. We provided pressed flowers for accenting the champagne flutes and the invitation suite to incorporate delicate floral elements and muted pastels in a cohesive way. The rentals, provided by Whim Hospitality, were really a cool mix of fabrics and textures, while still playing into the muted color palette. We were able to utilize fabrics like dupioni silk and velvet, burnished gold and silver chargers and hard metals. So, from a textile point of view, the rentals were on point! Overall, the event turned out to be the soft, romantic shoot we hoped for with an overwhelming amount of pretty!
