A Boho Backyard Friendsgiving

We’ve been celebrating Halloween all week, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to think about what’s next. If you are as excited as we are about the turn into the holiday season next week (hello, November!) you will love this boho backyard Friendsgiving! We love hosting Thanksgiving with friends. First of all, it let’s us celebrate one of America’s favorite days more than once – which includes all of the food! And also, because it’s a great excuse to get all our friends together! Katie Rebecca Events hosted this one potluck style. In addition to providing her home for the soiree, she set a gorgeous themed table! So gather up inspiration folks, because in only a few short weeks you may be hosting a Friendsgiving of your own!

Katie shares, We kicked off the holiday celebrations with a boho ‘Friendsgiving’ dinner party in our backyard to say a huge thank you to 30 of our friends. It was a love filled night that also looked beautiful, we are so honored to have some of the best friends who are also some of the best in the bay area wedding industry join us.

We made all the favors, the centerpieces and the napkins. Everything paired so well with the gorgeous tabletop rentals from our friends at Frances Lane! We draped the chairs with vintage blankets and topped the tables with real enamel cups.

We also filled all the enamel cups with screen printed recipe tea towels, caramels and hand made clay name tags. The dye dipped napkins added such a fun pop of color! And the maidenhair ferns with candles were the perfect centerpieces for the farm tables we ran along the backyard. The bistro chairs with the blankets kept everyone snug and toasty.

Take all that and add the vintage rentals, a full bar serving up moscow mules in pretty copper mugs and all the gourmet food you could desire. The result? A pretty epic backyard Friendsgiving!
