5 Reasons to Visit The Royal Suites Punta Mita, Mexico

As the weather starts to cool here in Southern California, we’re dreaming of our tropical stay in Punta Mita, Mexico. Our time at The Royal Suites Punta de Mita by Palladium was nothing short of relaxing and rejuvenating! Despite the short flight to the Puerto Vallarta area, we were transported to an exotic paradise – surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation and clear blue water. Whether you’re planning your next vacation, destination wedding, or perfect honeymoon, look no further than this adult-only, all-inclusive resort!

1. Accommodations

The property overlooks the cobalt-blue Pacific Ocean and leads to picture-perfect views. Not to mention the room, which was a dream – spacious, comfortable, and relaxing (thanks to the oversized Jacuzzi).

You’ll truly feel like a VIP the moment you take one step onto Palladium’s property. You’ll never NOT have a drink in your hand, and the staff make it a point to remember your name. These special, small touches make all the difference!

2. Location

They say it’s all about “location, location, location” and this beachfront resort easily achieves that. The secluded, yet not removed, property makes you feel like you’re in an exotic and remote location. However, you’re still close to local attractions like the beautiful surf town of Sayulita.

Because the property sits right on the beach, you can easily take a dip in the ocean and still be steps away from the luxurious pools (more on that in a bit). If you’d rather spend your time on water sports, you can rent a surfboard or paddle board from the resort without any extra cost.

3. Spa and Pool

Let’s face it, a spa is a treasured element of any vacation, wedding getaway or honeymoon. Thankfully the spa at the Royal Suites does not disappoint. It’s easy to relax and unwind with the spa’s exclusive and personalized services, sauna and vapor baths! Our personal favorite was the moonlight massage!

It wasn’t easy to choose from the 4 luxurious pools each day but our favorite had to be the seawater pool. It sits right on the ocean’s ledge! Also, if you’re looking for the ultimate relaxation spot – the shaded Balinese beds near the pools were our go-to spot!

4. Food + Drink

Some people associate all-inclusive resorts with less than great dining options. But that was not the case here! We are still salivating over the amazing food we had at the Royal Suites! You have the ability to choose from 24-hour room service, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and two buffet-style restaurants so you have free range in trying new and exotic dishes. But most importantly, there are 9 bars throughout the resort, so you’ll never be without a fruity cocktail or traditional Margarita!

5. The Scenery

Everywhere you look, there is a spectacular view. The breathtaking sunsets each day were our favorite part. The ocean and pink-stricken sky make for a picture-perfect location for weddings, too! After getting a look at all the different ceremony and reception spots around the property, it’s hard to imagine any other place to get married!
