It may not be a surprise to anyone, but Los Angeles has recently had warmer weather than we did all summer! Although it’s technically fall. Despite the higher temps, we still want to wear darker hues and cozy clothes signature of fall. So today, we’re sharing a perfect warm to cool weather outfit. And sometimes, it’s the jewelry that makes the difference! We love the Lisa Bridge Collection exclusively at Ben Bridge Jeweler to take our look up a notch – and currently to make it a bit more seasonal! See how we paired a couple of our favorite pieces below.
We love the pieces we chose to pair with this look because they are 1) beautiful, and 2) high quality. The gems are real and so are the metals. So the color won’t change on the jewelry or on your skin! Did we mention that the Lisa Bridge Collection is new? The fact that it’s fresh and on trend makes us love it even more! So – how do you wear them? Well, they’re so pretty, you could probably throw them on with whatever you have on, but here are a few tricks for styling them.
Ground a patterned outfit with a statement piece. When wearing patterns and lots of layers (hello, fall), it makes sense to keep the jewelry simple! This is why we chose subtle jewelry in statement making color. Earrings, a double gemstone ring, and a few bangles is all that’s necessary to accessorize this look.
Wear what you love. We totally fell for these Cushion Cut Green Quartz Dangle Earrings, so we’re not surprised that they look great with this look. The earrings look best when you can see them! So our editor, Ally, slipped her hair into a ponytail to let them really shine. These dangling gems aren’t distracting, instead they are simple and elegant. The barely green tint goes great with so many colors. Here, however, it really solidifies the color combination already present in her dress, vest, and the rest of the jewelry. Pretty, right?
The next piece she chose, is this gorgeous Chrysoprase & Chalcedony Ring. Yes, those are real, beautiful gemstones. The brighter and darker greens not only pair great next to each other but also with this outfit. The diamond halo on one stone makes it sparkle even more! In addition to shining all on its own, the ring matches nicely with the Green Quartz Dangle Earrings too.
Last, Ally wore a set of bangles from the Lisa Bridge Collection, because you can never have too much jewelry, right? But actually, we’re all about subtlety and it’s just the perfect final touch. This one is the Twist Bangle Bracelet in Sterling Silver. We love it with this outfit but also love it with everything in our closet!
Our final tip is: don’t be afraid of mixing metals or stones. Here, we wore sterling silver pieces from the collection that all featured different gems, yet look amazing together. They also still look great with the gold accents in the tote seen here and other jewelry we wear. We often hear people turmoil over mixing metals, but we say ‘nay!’ Your jewelry pieces can totally complement each other even if they aren’t made of the same materials.
Have you started dressing for fall yet? What are your best tips?
