It’s no surprise that lifestyle blogger, Liz, of Pure Joy Home decorated her daughter’s room in adorable fashion. We’re excited to tour and share the purple and pink bohemian nursery on our baby blog today! It may have been a long process, but in the end, Gracie’s nursery is everything her mom could have hoped for and more. We think she did a great job! Below, Liz shares a little bit more about her inspiration and bringing it all together.
Liz shares, It took me an entire year to finish Gracie’s nursery (after she was born!). Truth is, I’m a very slow decorator and although I had all of the basics ready for her when she was born, the actual decorating process was one that took place throughout her first 12 months. I wanted to take my time to get to know her, to know how the room would work with within our family, and how to suit her personally best! I’m constantly seeking inspiration from the places we visit and online. And I’m so glad to feel 100% happy with how the room turned out – which happened to be on her first birthday!
I wanted Gracie’s room to feel pretty and fun (just like her) with a touch of boho. I achieved that through the various soft textures of white and pink. As well as the combination of different art pieces on the walls, and her gorgeous kilim rug. The room gets a lot of natural light so at certain times of the day it’s really stunning. Of course, her smiling face popping up from her crib is the best part!
This is such a cute nursery theme!
