From their picturesque ceremony to their first dance this bride & groom captured our hearts. Their gorgeous black tie wedding in Vermont is classic & elegant, and yet the venue’s rolling fields & wildflowers give it a sweet rustic charm that we love. J Harper photographed the bride’s sapphire stunner, the beautiful barn reception, and every sweet moment in between.
J Harper Photography shares, Elizabeth and Nate live in Denver, Colorado but returned to her home to celebrate with 125 of their closest friends and family in the hills of Northern Vermont. The day was a bit of magic. Event details typically found in this area of the state include burlap, Ball jars, twine, and hay bales – all lovely in their own right, but what I found so remarkable about this day was how the bride incorporated so much elegance into an otherwise rustic-chic venue. Elizabeth spent months collecting the copper and bronze candlestick holders, flower bowls, and vases. She then artfully arranged and orchestrated her own floral design the night before her wedding. Often, DIY flowers are easy to spot, but the entire pavilion was drenched in whites, gold, and greens that oozed the touch of a professional.
The bride stunned her guests in Ana Bè Bridal, which she accented by securing her mother’s wedding belt around her waist. The groom wore a custom tux pinned with a classic gardenia. Such a timeless appeal with tons of personal touches and family sentiments.
Thank you so very much for this beautiful feature! I am so honored and I just know Bonnie and Nate are thrilled to see their day come to life on Inspired by This! XOXO
