PAGE Beauty is showing us how to create this beautiful bridal beauty look for your wedding day. Whether you’re eloping, wanting to do your own wedding hair and makeup, or in the bridal party, this twisted up-do hair tutorial and simple makeup how-to will help you achieve the stunning look you’re going for.
Juree Martinez, hairstylist at PAGE Beauty explains:
Step 1: With hair parted on the side, section hair into thirds: the first two in the front sides, and the third in the back.
Step 2: Secure the front sides with a pin.
Step 3: Section the back hair into 3 sections with a half-up/half-down pony, and two sections on each side.
Step 4: Twist the middle pony into a twist braid, gently pulling apart the twist for definition.
Step 5: Roll the twist braid into a low bun, and secure with pins.
Step 6: Repeat the same process for the remaining sections, rolling the twist braids around the first bun in the middle.
Step 7: (Coming back to the front sections) start with one side of the front section, twist back into a twisted braid and pull apart for more definition.
Step 8: Drape the twisted braid along the side and bring it back to the bun you just made, and secure with pins.
Step 9: Repeat the same process for the last front section.
Step 10: Fresh flowers from the garden accessorized the look.
For makeup, we used shades on the eyes that mimic the colors at sunset: peach, pink, bronze and gold. The lids twinkled while the rest of the complexion maintained a velvety finish. Lashes were defined with small sections of false lashes and tight eyeliner pressed under the top lash line. The look was finished with pale pink cheeks and soft rosy lips.
