When the bride & the MOB are florists, you can expect big things from the wedding. We are blown away by this coral & green countryside affair on our wedding blog today! The ceremony backdrop alone leaves us breathless, with potted plants and strung up wreaths, and we are lusting over the bridesmaids’ coral & eucalyptus bouquets. The ceremony and reception are set in the middle of the Midwest countryside, where fields of flowers and massive oak trees create the most picturesque backdrop.
The photographer, Molly Jo Collection, shares more of the story, These two planned to be married on the front porch of Meghan’s parents farmhouse. After a house fire months before the big day, the community came together to turn their vision into real life. They were able to save the doors from the fire, cleaned and hinged them together, and they served as the backdrop to their ceremony. Their neighbor graciously offered up his beautiful countryside space to host the event, and Brian and Meghan could not have been more grateful to spend their wedding day right down the road from their farmhouse. They celebrated with tears and laughter on a gorgeous fall day. The air was crisp and the light was warm. Flowers were everywhere in sight for this garden wedding day, perfect for a mother/daughter florist team. Her mom made her bouquet, and the bridesmaids bouquets were filled with garden greens, peaches and oranges that were a bold and beautiful compliment to the array of green gowns, a color combination so fresh and pleasing. It was a day of emotions and thankfulness, of family and community, and celebrating marriage on the most beautiful countryside landscape surrounded by happy people and blooms.
