Images by Jared Wilson - Denver Wedding Photographer
Hello! I’m Jared Wilson, a Denver wedding photographer. I photograph weddings in the soaring Mile High City as well as nearby mountain towns. I have a passion for capturing even the simplest moment and turning it into a lasting memory. Having been a Denver wedding photographer for eight years now, I understand how the landscape here in Colorado can create some of the best backdrops in the world for a romantic wedding. Colorado’s beautiful mountains towering in the background make outdoor weddings here a thrilling experience every time I have the pleasure of photographing one.
But I am not limited to being a Denver wedding photographer! I also enjoy photographing destination weddings and events. I have traveled from Chicago to Mexico, Delaware, Iceland, and beyond - capturing the story of couples from all over the world.
Though I am a Denver wedding photographer, I consider myself a storyteller. I love being able to use photography to reveal a story no one will forget - the story of two people in love. A love story so powerful that whenever anyone hears it they’ll say “I want to be in love like that!” I pray that in 50 years from now, when your story is told again, you and everyone listening will feel the passion and love that you shared. Because a wedding is not just a day, it’s for forever and always.
I personally photograph a limited number of weddings each year, but I have some truly talented associate photographers at Jared Wilson Photography who are also available to photograph weddings in Denver and the surrounding cities. Glad you're here!

othing quite says 'Colorado' like a cowboy wedding at a Colorado Dude Ranch! Lost Valley Ranch is a bit off the beaten path, so to speak, and that's a huge part of its charm. And even though fires have blazed in the vicinity in recent years, Lost Valley Ranch has remained protected as a sort of paradise in the middle of the 'apocalypse' (as another vendor put it). When you drive over the hill and see LVR spread out below you for the first time... you get it. And then you notice the reception on your phone is out, and you really get it. LVR is a place to enjoy, relax, forget, and unwind.
Jodi and Peter did just that when their family and friends converged on LVR for the weekend to celebrate their wedding. With all their children in tow, Jodi and Peter combined families and started something brand new. And they couldn't have chosen a more perfect way to do it. The kids were made a part of the ceremony, and at the reception special care was taken to make sure they, and all their friends, had a blast! After the ceremony Jodi and Peter rode off on horseback for a few photos in the valley together. I think the last photo here is one of my all time favorites that just oozes 'Colorado Wedding' - and that's what I'm all about. Gotta love it!
Finally, a HUGE shout out to Chelle, Dana, and the rest of the crew at Revel + Bloom! They did an outstanding job helping craft the perfect Colorado cowboy wedding! If you would like to do the same, contact one of Colorado's best wedding planning teams!
Von Miller - Celebrity Waiter event for Von's Vision
W
henever I have the opportunity to use photography to help our community I jump at it. Throw the Denver Broncos into the mix and this wedding photographer is in photography heaven.
A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Von Miller's first ever Celebrity Waiter event at Ocean Prime on Larimer Square down in Denver. A bunch of his teammates joined him in raising money for his foundation - Von's Vision. His goal is to get a whole bunch of underprivileged kids eye exams and corrective eyewear or surgery if needed. I believe they raised over $130,000 at the event for Von's Vision. Well done, Denver Broncos!!
I enjoyed seeing the team jump in to help out a teammate and support his efforts. Champ Bailey, Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas, and Wesley Woodyard were all there - and about 20 more! Sylvester Williams made a great waiter, and Ben Garland wouldn't stop going to the kitchen and coming back out with tray after tray filled with people's dinner orders! Von Miller was all smiles - and I could see why. This was a team coming together to accomplish something great, and they succeeded.
It was an honor to play my part in the Bronco team effort. Can I say that? Lump myself in with the Bronco team!? Well, I just did. :)

A HUGE shout out to Prolanthropy who coordinate the efforts of Von's Vision as well as many other pro athlete foundations around the country!
uper excited to be photographing the first 'Celebrity Waiter' event tonight for Von Miller of the Denver Broncos in support of Von's Vision! The event is sold out which is terrific news! Proceeds go to help Von accomplish his vision of helping underprivileged children get eye exams and eye wear. Word on the street is that most of the Broncos will be in attendance tonight and serving as waiters. Can't wait to see them all in aprons. :)
Wedding in Denver - Lindsey and Ben at the Seawell Grand Ballroom
A
s a Denver wedding photographer who has seen a lot of Denver ballrooms it simply doesn't get any better than the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the performing arts. And to take it over the top, Lindsey and Ben's wedding at the Seawell was filled to the brim with elegance, style, and class - as well as a good dose of hilarity.
How's that? How about the officiant coming to the end the ceremony without having done the rings! When Lindsey reminded him, we had a classic wedding moment - and it was captured in a photograph.
The decor was incredible, with many of Denver's top professional event vendors collaborating to pull it all off.
And then Lindsey, Ben, and friends were tearing it up on the dance floor as the party took off.
athryn and Alex's wedding in Denver at the Four Seasons was one I won't soon forget! Kathryn's personality is one in a million... er, billion!... and she had me and all of her friends and family laughing and having a blast all day long!
Kathryn and Alex opted for a 'first look' on the grand staircase at the Denver Four Seasons and then we all hopped in a big SUV limo and headed all over the city for nearly two hours taking fun wedding photos around Denver.
A couple of the most touching moments of the day came when Kathryn's brother walked her down the aisle and capped it off with a high five, and when he also filled in for the 'father/daughter' dance. Another touching and hilarious moment occurred when, during the ceremony, Alex got a bit choked up and Kathryn moved in to comfort him with a kiss. Right at the last moment they both realized that it wasn't 'that time' in the ceremony for them to kiss and so Alex turned his cheek to her right as she changed direction for his other cheek... We all couldn't stop laughing for a solid minute!
The wedding reception at the Denver Four Seasons was spectacular - as it always is at one of Denver's finest ballrooms! The Four Seasons comes highly recommended by me if you're looking for a venue for your wedding in Denver!
Wedding at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch - Sara and Ralph
C
olorado is a popular location for destination weddings. Sara and Ralph hail from Virginia yet were able to gather all of their family and friends for their wedding at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch - because what's more beautiful than a Colorado mountain wedding, right!? Ok, I may be a bit biased. But there's no denying the spectacular grandeur of this place!
Sara and Ralph opted for a 'first look' which gave us a bit of time for photos in Beaver Creek before the wedding began. Then they held their ceremony at the Beaver Creek Chapel. One of my favorite moments was when they included Ralph's sons in the sand ceremony. My other favorite moment was their 'bubble' getaway - check out the photo of that below. (You'll notice one particular guest was really enjoying himself!)
Then it was off to the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch for the reception. Now I've photographed a number of venues in the Beaver Creek area - in fact, I've probably photographed more weddings in Beaver Creek than anywhere outside of Denver. But this wedding at the Ritz Bachelor Gulch was a first for me - and WOW! What a site! You just have to see it to understand - and hopefully the photos below will show you what I'm talking about!
Julie Gambrell of Classic Creations did an incredible job with the decor - as always! And the flowers by Amy at Flower House played a huge part in that. Rachel of Intricate Icings made a cake that matched Sara's wedding dress, and Dance Trax had guests on the dance floor all night long. The dance floor also featured quite a bit of child tossing.
Sara and Ralph both work at 'Five Guys Burgers' HQ, and so their hamburger and fry shaped treats were another of my favorites. Five Guys might have to add these things to their menu!
Overall - an amazing destination wedding at Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch. Pefection with a capital 'P'. Biased you say? No way. :)
