Julia and Alex had their wedding at the Grand Hyatt in Denver.  Always fun when you get to work with wedding vendors you love, on their family's wedding. Also, nice for a bride when your mother-in-law to be is a florist, and a fab florist at that!  Amy with The Flower House is super AH-mazing, I work with her a lot.  So, I was excited to jump in and work with both her and Julia on the wedding. Talk about a laid back couple!  Julia basically just said here is my ideas on color, but you tell me what would be good for design. 

Good thing they were super laid back, since the Grand Hyatt was doing serious renovations of their ballroom spaces.  It was scheduled to be done by their wedding day, but construction delays kept pushing completion back. We had several back up plans in place, but literally we did not know which room we would be in for the wedding until that morning! read more

It's so much fun when people you work with in the industry get married. After having so many weddings this summer with Nancy, from Chairs with Character, we were so excited to be helping her with her wedding at Wash Park in Denver and then her reception at Wash Park Studios. Nancy's company Chairs with Character rents lovely vintage chairs as well as amazing vintage props, comes in handy when you are planning your own wedding! 

Nancy and Wes had a blue and white color palette, with a vintage decor flair but still pulled in a few more modern touches like a chevron pattern. I think it was a great combo!   read more
