What’s white and blush and beautiful all over? This floral mauve wedding inspiration in an elegant ballroom setting on our wedding blog today. Arielle Peters Photography photographed this inspiration shoot all the while leading fellow photographers in the ways to capture the most priceless moments and details. So what are the most photo-worthy elements? For this particular workshop, vendors pulled out all the stops with floral arches that extend into the venue’s remarkable high ceilings, velvet linens and ribbons, matte tableware, and a pink sparkly cake. It’s really pretty.
Arielle Peters says…
I’ve hosted a 2-day photography workshop every year for the past three years and part of that includes a styled shoot that local vendors all put together for my ladies as part of the learning/practicing time. It allows them to be able to put into practice what they are learning and have some images to use to build their portfolio. This year we had a new venue that just opened in our area called The LaSalle Center and it was absolutely PERFECT! It’s a really intimate space (max of 60 for reception) and is all white! It is actually an old lobby of an apartment complex in the downtown area that has SO much character. They’ve completely renovated it but still left what makes it so special.
When deciding the color scheme, we went ahead and played off the colors of the floor. They kept the original flooring which has mauve, grey and black tones. We kept with the clean white feel and did a white table with white chairs and played up the accent colors in the flowers, velvet runner and velvet napkins and then in the invitation suite and cake!
Love a mauve or pink color palette as much as we do? You will also love this sunset inspired wedding and this moody mauve and copper wedding!
