This vintage blue and green wedding with a few pops of lilac is as touching as it is beautiful! With vintage decor and a gorgeous venue in Walkersville, Maryland (just wait until you see the ceremony!) it will make you swoon, for sure, but it’s the love between the bride and groom that swept us off our feet. At first glance, you can catch just how much this day meant to them. It’s special, sweet, and you’re sure to love it too! So, without further ado…
Katie, the planner at Rose Gold Events, shares…
Samantha and Mike wed on a summer day at Walker’s Overlook in Walkersville, Maryland. For their ceremony to symbolize their unity, they did a tree planting ceremony incorporating soil from their childhood homes and added it to the pot of the tree they will plant at their new home. Samantha wanted shades of blue and green throughout her wedding. We incorporated this with greenery garlands on the tables and succulents throughout the space. Mini potted succulents acted as guest’s escort cards and a blue vintage settee was the backdrop for their polaroid photo booth. Sparklers on their cutting cake accented their dessert bar, along with a packed dance floor where everyone danced to the music of the Bachelor Boys Band.
How sweet is this ending?! Milk & cookies, s’mores in a cup, or a sparkling cake?! We’ll have one of each, please.
I love the cookies and milk idea!
