If you’re having a destination wedding, there are often multiple events to coordinate that are a part of the celebration. And although a rehearsal dinner is common no matter where you wed, it can double as a welcome dinner and often involves more attendees when most guests are traveling to the wedding destination. Thus, it becomes another fun opportunity to incorporate a theme and beautiful decor. This is definitely true for Jamie & Nathan who hosted their vibrant pink rehearsal dinner at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico! The evening is so beautiful, we can hardly imagine what the wedding was like! Details such as glass hearts, woven table runners, and the designs on the plates and menus are a nod to the city and it’s culture. As are the Don Julio cocktails ;). Not only was it beautiful, but also such a fun way to kick off a weekend full of celebrations – or should we say fiestas!

One of my favorite places to photograph, for both a Los Cabos rehearsal dinner and a wedding, is Flora Farms. The venue is absolutely stunning. As a functioning organic farm, restaurant, resort and venue, the “Farm,” as it’s familiarly known, provides an endless array of stunning backdrops as nature and elegance coalesce.
Jamie and Nathan’s rehearsal dinner at Flora Farms was amazing. Amy Abbott’s event team created an experience that encompassed incredible detail, whimsy and fun — from start to finish it was a celebration of the couple. From the gorgeous hand-blown place cards, to the stunning floral masterpiece centerpieces by Pina Cate, all of the eclectic and vibrant elements came together seamlessly. Of course, the colorful and cool lounge pieces by Baja Boutique Rental Company gave the rehearsal that much more edge and fun, as well. Jamie and Nathan looked beyond happy and it was a treasure to be able to photograph them so relaxed and in love.
