All our bells are ringing for this tropical Florida inspiration shoot on our wedding blog today! In our favorite color scheme of pastel pink & bright, shimmering, gold, it not only masters the tropical theme, but fits in seamlessly with the elegant, vintage feel of this beachfront venue. The bride & her maid wore sequin dripped gowns, sipped ‘flamingo juice’ out of gold rimmed glasses, and carried the most gorgeous blush & ivory bouquets! The groom looked great in a silver-grey suit with a pocket square that brought out the mint accents in the shoot.
Cathy Durig Photography shares, I have always been proud to call myself a Floridian, and whether you be from the East or West coast of Florida, the same honor still applies. The inspiration for this shoot came from all things near and dear to the wonderful state of Florida, focusing on classic elements like fancy flamingos, regal alligators, and fun pineapples to represent this romantic Floridian styled wedding inspiration.
Set in the bright beautiful city of St. Petersburg, FL sits a classic vintage hotel that embodies the word Floridian. From pink arch ways to royal palms, The Vinoy Renaissance was the perfect backdrop for this styled shoot. We chose a color palette of mint, pinks, peaches, and lots of gold for the extra glam this gorgeous state deserves. Every detail was curated in such a way to represent the true elegance of Florida, from the vintage state stamps, to the simple yet stunning Badgley Mischka wedding gown.
