We recently had the chance to preview the Tara Lauren Isle Botanica collection (with mimosa in hand) and fell head over heels for every. Single. Dress. The collection’s refined coastal aesthetic felt right at home at the Huntington Bay Club, where the SoCal sun shone brightly, making the detail on every gown stand out. As with previous collections, all of the gowns are stunning and so wearable. But we particularly love the floral influence in this season’s designs… even down to the earrings. If we were a soon-to-be bride, one of these styles would be at the top of our list.
Tara says, “Tara Lauren 2019 Isle Botanica is a collection inspired by evoking the elevated luxe bohème vision through the lens of the quiet mystique of Indonesia’s lush sweeping forest, ancient ruins, and wild tropic botanicals. We have always kept a relaxed yet refined coastal aesthetic to our pieces and we’re always thinking of where we would envision the girl wearing it.
This season we’ve brought a sensual botanical influence to our easy, lightweight silhouettes using textured floral embroidery, airy soft tulles, ornate beading and lace appliqué. You’ll notice many sultry details including daring slits and soft sheer elements. This season is all about the enticement of island regality and the charm of exquisite and bold femininity.”
Which is your favorite? We don’t blame you if you can’t pick just one…
This collection was absolutely breathtaking!
