The California girl is about to go crazy for these boho blush nuptials on our wedding blog today! The gorgeous blush and gold color palette, Free People inspired decor, and outdoor reception are everything a summer bride could want. The stunning young couple married at the beautiful San Diego Temple and held their reception in a tent graced with modern gold chandeliers, a cozy vintage lounge, and hand painted photo booth backdrop. Reality and Retrospect both planned and captured Hayley and Blake’s day beautifully.
The Reality & Retrospect team shares, Hayley and Blake got married on an idyllic Southern California day. Joined by their loved ones, they tied the knot at the San Diego LDS temple. That evening their reception was held in Hayley’s backyard inside a massive clear party tent. The décor and theme was inspired by the Free People store’s vibe. The wedding planner found epic DIY clay teardrop chandeliers from the Free People store. The chandeliers were up for sale and the wedding planner was able to snag them for the reception! The sweetheart table was at the center of the tent; it had a wood wall as the backdrop and a CB2 mint-colored desk as the actual table. The long tables for guests were lined with eucalyptus garlands, and the round tables were adorned with fur throws and vases filled with protea and pincushions, which added a funky element to the romantic evening. They used a handmade freestanding mantle as the entry and gifts area, which made for a warm welcome to all guests. The dance floor had a mud-cloth backdrop and was highlighted with gold balloons that spelled LOVE.
