With all of the photos that come along with the engagement and wedding season, it isn’t typical for couples to have a newlywed shoot. However, we hope it becomes the new norm! These Valentine’s Day newlywed photos couldn’t be sweeter. From the snowy setting to the ultra romantic color palette, every element makes us swoon. So why take newlywed photos, you ask? Well, not only are they beautiful, but they’re also something you can display all over your newlywed home! Monique Serra photographed the session beautifully, and fills us in on the details below..
When Brittany contacted me shortly after her wedding, wanting to do a newlywed shoot, I was so excited to jump on board! She wanted to be able to put up photos of her and her husband in their new house, and so we started talking about options that would make this shoot stand out!
We live in Oregon, and it’s very rare that the west side of the state sees any snow, ever. However, this year we were hit by a “snowpocalypse” as people are saying, and it created the most amazing and beautiful backdrop for a romantic snow shoot! I was in the middle of rebranding my entire business when we started planning, so I was excited to use this shoot as an opportunity to reach out to other vendors, and create something I could use for the relaunch of my website.
I am so grateful that such talented artists were willing to come together to make this happen, and that Brittany and Robbie were such troopers when it came to the freezing conditions! This shoot came together so perfectly, and was truly a day full of adventuring, laughing, loving, creating, and making memories! I think all newlyweds deserve a photoshoot, am I right?!
Love these!!
