This family vow renewal graces our wedding blog today in unique fashion and utter splendor. Both real & paper flowers create stunning visuals (can you tell the difference?) but it’s the beautiful family that steals the show. As if a the concept of a vow renewal weren’t beautiful enough, the vendors working with this couple created something even more magical for them. We love how edgy details were executed in such a soft color palette, and we LOVE the bride’s floral headpiece – doesn’t it inspire you?! The team shared some more about how they brought this special day to life…
Tangerine Room Events shares, The inspiration for this shoot began with the idea of a textured, romantic and over the top floral headpiece. The epiphany to have the headpiece made entirely of PAPER florals, came later. In order to match the stunning design of the headpiece, we wanted to tell the story of a couple with just as much boldness and romance. We set the stage for a vow renewal for Dylan and Lindsay and included their adorably stylish boys, Van and Emery.
A lush and loose bouquet and table florals from Fiori Flowers mirrored the paper flowers in Lindsay’s headpiece, while place settings from West Elm Denver layered atop slate chargers perfectly complimented the couples edgy style. Mixed metallics, plenty of candlelight and Lindsay’s gold gown added just enough sparkle against Dylan’s tailored, navy suit. Soft details met clean lines and edgy surprises throughout the design.
Felicity Day handcrafted each paper flower for the headpiece and individually attached each stem to Lindsay’s retro inspired beehive for a jaw dropping effect. Van and Emery wore non traditional boutonnieres made from gold painted feathers and carried their parents’ rings on a solid brass Jonathan Adler brass ring holder. Their brotherly love and affection for each other (and sheer adorableness!) was only out shined by their parents’ epic love, evident in the stunning and sexy portraits perfectly captured by Link Nelson Photography.
The clean, modern space of the Denver Photo Collective acted as the perfect subtle and crisp backdrop for the textured and layered tablescape and ceremony setting. Custom marbled vow booklets including hand lettered, calligraphy vows and candlelight galore infused romance into every inch of the ceremony space.
