The bride shares, It was most important to us that our wedding guests have FUN! With our closest friends and family traveling all the way to Mexico, we wanted our wedding to seem like a vacation. We decided to have our wedding in Sayulita, Mexico as we both love the beach, Mexican food, and art – this town has an abundance of all three.
The wedding inspiration was the town of Sayulita itself. We love the vibrant colors of Sayulita, so I chose a bright marigold for the bridesmaids dresses, and they each chose their own dress. I went with a very lightweight, off the shoulder dress from Christos Costarellos. The Brisa Mar Palapa is very casual with natural elements, so we decided to stick with wood tables and chairs, without linens to cover them.
We also wanted there to be a nod to his Cuban culture, so of course, there were of cigars and latin music. Plus, we learned a pretty intricate salsa dance to perform. Our guests never left the dance floor, and we had the best night of our lives!
Oh my goodness the bride’s dress!! Stunning
