U Me Us Studios and Tickled Events achieved their goal in transporting us to the French countryside with this gorgeous vintage wedding inspiration! We’re happy to share all the romantic details with you here on our wedding blog. The views from the ceremony site alone are breathtaking. In conjunction with a bride in lace Claire Pettibone and a table covered in mis-matched vases holding cream dahlias, the rustic winery becomes the perfect vintage venue. The team’s goal was to nod to Coco Chanel, which they executed beautifully in gold & pink desserts and antique Chanel No. 5 perfume bottles.
U Me Us Studios shares, This French vintage blush Coco Chanel shoot was inspired by the 2 ethereal Claire Pettibone’s wedding dresses that our bride, Misa, modeled for us. “Kristene” is a beautiful Victorian embroidery lined dress with ivory silk charmeuse, sweetheart neckline, sheer back, cap sleeves, and a heart shaped train. “Alma” is an ivory floral embroidered dress with pearl silk and guipure embellished neckline and back. Both of these dresses and the veil evoke romance and a vintage feel with modern styling through the delicate details of the lace and embroidery. Our bride wasn’t the only one with cute accessories; to add to our eye candy groom, he wore pastel pink suspenders to match his bride’s flower crown to tie their look together.
When searching for a venue for our shoot, we wanted something with a European vibe. The Mountain Winery was a perfect find, so charming with magnificent views of the valley. There are multiple places for a ceremony, with the venue’s newest addition of the Meadow. A charming outdoor location with a brand new beautiful wooden trellis, and green hills of the Santa Cruz Mountains as a breathtaking backdrop unlike any other venue. The vineyards are a perfect location for a portrait session, and just steps away from the Chateau Deck, where the views of the valley and sunset are just indescribable. It was absolutely perfect!
For the dining table, we wanted a simple linen to pull the gold together from the rest of the table. Wooden Bistro chairs are becoming ever more popular. We love the casual feel for outdoor weddings and they paired perfectly with the gold-rimmed glasses and chargers for a simple yet elegant feel. Simple blush blooms flooded across the table with a blush patterned placecard for each bridal party member.
The romantic arrangements of blushing hues of Cafe au lait Dahlia, English Garden Roses, including David Austin’s “Juliet”, Queen Anne’s Lace, Lisianthus, Hydrangea and South African Blushing-Bride were designed by Royal Bloom Boutique and paired with, ever-so-soft and silvery, Dusty Miller, Eucalyptus and Silver Brunia. Vintage bottles filled with feminine blooms lined the reception table like a lovely collection of perfume. The bride held a textural, cascading, hand-tied bouquet perfect for the natural setting of a mountain wedding.
What could be more Parisian than a croquembouche, a very traditional French dessert! We thought the white cream puffs would go well with the flowers, and then interlaced the puffs with some cream tulle and flowers that matched the rest of our beautiful centerpieces. Of course a French dessert table would not be complete without almond macarons, in pastel pink no doubt. The Chanel purses with gold emblem and gold chain are very distinguished additions to the delicate cookie. Pink cream puffs and rich chocolate tartlets finish off the dessert table.
That bouquet is incredible!
