Annie and Serge’s estate wedding on the blog today is the definition of romantic! In a backyard full of lavender and a big red barn, these two were lucky enough to have the chic purple and white wedding of the bride’s dreams! With the venue being the bride’s parents’ home in Battle Ground, Washington, this wedding was full of personal and touching details that we know you’ll love!

My vision for my wedding was to be simple, different, and a breathe of fresh air. I wanted the guests, as well as the groom and I, to enjoy the wedding. I did not want the day to be stressful or hurried. My goal was to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. With that in mind, we chose an outdoor venue, neutral colors, patio umbrellas, candle lights, and string lights. My folks had imagined a beautiful wedding in the backyard of this home since the day they built it. Of course, we were much too young to wed however, as soon as I grew up and got engaged, we knew we HAD to have my wedding here. It was a dream, a thing we talked about for years and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from making that dream come true.
