Palm Springs is the ideal location for a destination wedding, especially when the vibe you’re going for is colorful and fun. For this couple’s pink desert wedding, they chose the Alcazar Palm Springs, an intimate venue backed by stunning desert scenery with charming elements like Terracotta tile roofing and a circular ceremony location underneath the shade. The reception centered around an outdoor swimming pool, which held fun floats for when the dance party got too hot. Complete with an array of hanging fairy lights, candles, and florals, it exudes a magical vibe.
From the bride,
We chose Palm Springs for our destination wedding and let the gorgeous desert scenery speak for itself while taking inspiration from the area’s mid-century modern and colorful design. It was really special to have an outdoor ceremony in the round and be literally surrounded by the love and support of our favorite people under hanging flowers and candles.
We wanted each planning and design decision to benefit our guests and play into our goal for the weekend – fun! We added pool floats, cheeky cocktail napkins congratulating Meghan + Harry (we were married on the same day as the royal wedding), bright florals, Palm Springs stir sticks, funfetti wedding cake, and threw a party that got everyone in the pool by the end of the night (even the father of the bride did a cannonball).
