Picnic Engagement Shoot in Santa Margarita

This love shoot quickly became an engagement shoot as the beautiful couple were engaged the very next day! Now, they can look back on their picnic engagement photos in Santa Margarita with extra fond memories. Photographer, Lucy Munoz captured Kristen & Tyler beautifully and let their love shine in the romantic session. Below, Kristen shares their story with all of you. Warning: it will make you swoon!

I was the “new girl” at the only middle school in the small city where Tyler and I met. Tyler was known to be the nice guy. He was always smiling and greeting people with high-fives (he still does this), so naturally, we became friends. It wasn’t until senior year in high school that fate nudged us a little, and we began dating. We dated throughout the year, but reality set in as the school year neared the end that I was going to be moving to San Francisco for college. Tyler had plans to play baseball for our local community college before transferring to Fresno State. Even though our short-term plans had us living miles apart, we never doubted the strength of our relationship and knew that our future was together.

The summer before starting college Tyler mentioned over ice cream, “We should get married after college.” I think I laughed, kissed him, and kept eating my ice cream. Tyler has always been a man of his word, and I don’t know why I didn’t think twice about that comment. The rocky road must have been distractingly good. Only two months after his graduation from Fresno he popped the question and now we’re tying the knot August 2017 in the small city where we met.
