This La Jolla beach shoot is not your everyday set of engagement photos. Anthony and Alyson, along with their amazing photographer, Natalie Bray, and a wonderful team of vendors, took a different route to celebrate this commemoratory stage. The dolled up couple (don’t they look incredible?!) accented their look with seriously bright blooms and a robins egg blue VW bug. Need we say more? Start scrolling and see what we mean when we say this one is sure to live in fame in our engagement story archives.
From Natalie, Anthony and Alyson are incredibly in love. She fell in love with the gorgeous Rue de Seine Dahlia gown from The Dress Theory, which was our jumping off point for creating a romantic and fun engagement for them. A gown can inspire an entire theme of a wedding or engagement session and be a great starting point for any bride to gain inspiration.
Then, we paired colorful pink, fuscias, peaches, and magentas for a delightfully bold florals from Organic Flora. These blooms really pop against the white and nude beautifully beaded gown. With a cute vintage VW bug helping set the mood, everything they wanted came together. We wanted to show florals can be used in a fun, romantic way as well. So, we placed lots of dramatic garden roses and dahlias in Alyson’s hair, gorgeously styled by Sherri Belanger. Anthony wore a lovely tailored grey suit from Friar Tux. The pink ranunculus added dimension to his boutonnière. And the miles of breathtaking La Jolla cliffs added for a wonderful setting to celebrate love, life, and a couple who are honest and real.
