We have to admit, we are major fans of Pantone’s choice of the 2021 color of the year. Or should we say colors? Yellow has always been such an under-appreciated color in the wedding industry, in our opinion. So when we came across this gorgeous Pantone Yellow Wedding in the Italian countryside, we knew we had to share it! Not only does it showcase how the color can be chic and trendsetting but it also happens to be in the most beautiful countryside venue in the hills of Italy. Need we continue?…
The Planner Gionata Russo shares,
“Italy is full of secret treasures and Castello di Tassara is one of them. Lost in the northern countryside, the castle is the perfect venue for an intimate I Do with a Tuscan flavor. You can breathe authentic Italian country life, with local goodies and a stunning view of the hills. Eva and Daniel have chosen this venue to enjoy nature and relax in the swimming pool surrounded by silence.
Yellow is a powerful color, in all the shades: a reminder of the sun, positivity, and fun. Gold was necessary to give that touch of elegance typical of her British family. The Castle has lots of ancient doors and the biggest one was perfect for the Ceremony, with two natural branches of fresh flowers and a rustic but elegant corner of baskets and dried flowers. The happy couple could then enjoy the beautiful garden with a view of the hills and admire their rings, to realize that they were finally Husband and Wife.
A long wooden table is perfect for the intimate dinner, with ikebana compositions of flowers in textural small vases and candles in the color palette, an elegant mise en place with gold flatware, and pears as place cards which is representative of the organic food grown in the castle’s yard. Last but not least, a very simple wedding cake Pears flavored to maintain the link with the surrounding territory and with the nature of the place.”
