These two got on a plane with their closest friends and families and jetted off to Rincon, a little surf town in Puerto Rico, for a destination wedding to remember! The beautiful day on our wedding blog could not be more picturesque! Watercolor bridesmaid dresses, a floral hairpiece, and a crop top gown fit the beachy scene perfectly – and were so on trend. The glow of the sunset comes across impeccably in Tamiz Photography ‘s images, making us wish we were there! The bride & groom recruited local planner, Rincon Events, who shares with us what went into making their dreams come true:
From Rincon Events…
“Meghan and Adam’s wedding took place at Sunset Paradise Villas located on the west coast of Puerto Rico. A place the couple was drawn to because of its natural beauty and world class waves for surfing. The name of the rental property hinted to the most beautiful sunset for the actual wedding ceremony. The beach in front is very small so we created a semi circle of fresh petals that surrounded the bride and groom, and the bridesmaid and groomsmen flanked both sides and watched from the large porch overlooking the beach. Meghan was stunning in her dress and the half crown of ranunculus in her hair was a last minute surprise from us to her. She was originally told they could not get these special delicate flowers on the island, but we found a purveyor in San Juan that shipped them in especially for her big day.
Sunset cocktails were served on the top floor over looking the ocean with passed hors d’oervres including goat cheese empanadas with a guava dipping sauce, coconut shrimp with a gourmet cheese and fruit tower. Tables were lined with brightly colored distressed white boxes of roses, Fuji Pom’s, carnations, and hydrangeas. Later a taco bar was served for dinner. The first dance took place in front of the cake table that was dripping with fruit and flowers on a Bohemian naked cake. The party really began when DJ Erik played a perfect mix for a young lively crowd. The morning after, guests were treated to a brunch with coffee, fresh juice, and local pastries with fruit. The great ending to an unforgettable wedding in Rincon, Puerto Rico.”
